Taj Khazana, Zoya partner for saris

Taj Khazana, the in-house luxury lifestyle stores chain of Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces

has announced a partnership with diamond boutique Zoya to launch a new collection of Banarasi saris and jewellery. Incidentally, both, Taj Khazana and Zoya are from the house of Tatas. The initiative is taken to revive rare Banarasi weaves by employing and empowering rural weavers and artisans from Banaras while preserving the rich art and craft legacy of India. The Taj Khazana has been working with craftsmen and artisans giving them opportunities and livelihood to use their skills and revive the rich culture of this country.

The collections created with the support of Taj Khazana have been showcased through trunk shows in major cities and at all Khazana stores, in its endeavour to spread the works and keep the looms alive. The luxury lifestyle stores chain will also be opening a new store in Goa by the year-end, taking the total number of stores in India to 13. Taj Khazana showcases and stocks artefacts and collectibles created by master craftsmen of India and also have a selection of garments, stoles, shawls and accessories from handpicked Indian designers. The stores are present in select Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces.
