TDAP to host fashion show by Pakistani designers in Delhi

Pakistani fashion designer Fazia Samee is presenting her collection through
a Pakistan Fashion Show at a fashion exhibition hosted by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). What is unique about her designs is a Kutch hand-embroidered garments, she has created to pay tribute to her country's shared traditions with India. The exhibition is being organised in collaboration with FICCI after the popular response to its 'Lifestyle Exhibition' here in April 2012.Beginning September 11, the event to be held across four days is the second edition, which is expecting participation by over 250 exhibitors from Pakistan showcasing fashion, textiles, jewelry, accessories, leather, fabric, carpets, furniture, marble and granite, agro products, and services sectors.
While the designs to be showcased at the fashion show would focus on couture collection, Samee has brought several other designs to exhibit at the lifestyle expo meant for the festivals ahead like Karva Chauth and Diwali. Umar Sayeed, Warda Saleem, Sania Maskatiya, Maheen Karim and Deepak Perwani are some of the other designers who are also showing at the fashion show.
