The Loot, India’s largest multi brand discount retail store has something new for everyone

this monsoon season. With a wide range of apparels and accessories in its monsoon collection to choose from, The Loot stores are offering up to 60 per cent off on almost everything. Accessories and clothes in bright colors, different prints and light fabrics to pep up the mood and keep monsoon depression at bay are all on the racks. Even in high humidity levels of Mumbai , it is possible to look smart and trendy, for after all monsoon is just another season and no reason to look messy.

On the accessories rack are colorful umbrellas, key-chains, shoes, slippers, waterproof raincoats and windcheaters and other such monsoon gear. The men’s collection features shorts and light printed tees for casual wear and linen and cotton trousers teamed with light cotton shirts for formal wear with brands such as Eccentrics, Bus Stop, Levis and Spykar among others. For women there are short dresses, shorts and bright colored T-shirts, vests and shirts for daywear and knee length dresses, skirts and mixed denim pants that are convenient to fold up and take lesser time to dry for evening wear.

A multi-brand retail chain that offers a discount of 25-60 per cent on national and international brands throughout the year, The Loot posted a turnover of Rs 108 crores in 2009-10. The Mumbai-based company, which has a tie-up with about 100 brands, including Reebok, Nike, Puma, Wrangler, Lee and Spykar, has 150 outlets spread across 85 cities. The retail chain plans to open 50 more outlets over six months and most of them would be in smaller cities. Also, after having shelved the initial public offer plan last year, the discount retailer plans to hit the capital market this fiscal to raise Rs 100 crores.
