Three Indian designers to showcase at Faisana Fashion Weekend

Six fashion designers from India and Pakistan will be showcasing their latest

collections at Faisana Fashion Weekend on May, 2 at Mayfair Hotel, London. Aamna & Aisha and Radhika Hasan are organizing the show in the UK, presenting for the first time on one international platform, three of India’s and three of Pakistan’s most celebrated designers. They are: Anita Dongre, Rina Dhaka and Bhairavi Jaikishan from India and Umar Sayeed, Nida Azwer and Sania Maskatiya from Pakistan.

The two-day event at Mayfair Hotel will launch with an exclusive champagne, canapés and couture evening on May 2, where guests will preview the latest collections from all designers, introduced by the designers themselves. The evening will be interspersed with a runway show and classical dance performance by celebrated Kathak dancer Fasih ur Rahman of the Akademi institute.

A free to attend, open exhibition, The Grand Trunk Show, will follow on May 3, from 12-7 pm, showcasing a wide range of prêt and couture designs from the designers’ latest offering for the general public hosted by the designers themselves.
