Tom Tailor Q2 like-for-like sales up 13.1 percent

For the second quarter Tom Tailor like-for-like sales grew by

13.1 percent. In the e-commerce business, sales climbed by 27.3 percent. The company recorded a slight increase of 0.7 percent in like-for-like sales with its two umbrella brands Tom Tailor and Bonita. The Tom Tailor group recorded a 4 percent drop in like-for-like retail sales. Sales at Bonita fell by 6.2 percent, corresponding to a like-­for-like reduction of 9.6 percent.

“Tom Tailor posted like-for-like growth for the eighteenth quarter in a row,” said Dieter Holzer, CEO of Tom Tailor Holding AG. “Tom Tailor has once again demonstrated its strong ability to achieve growth. In future, these success factors will also take an effect on Bonita. Commencing this fall, stores will be stocking the new Bonita styles. We are confident that positive momentum will start to emerge at Bonita from the fourth quarter onwards.”

The Tom Tailor group is based in Germany. It offers stylish casual wear and accessories. The group has about 1,300 own stores in the retail segment. Its collections are aimed at customers up to 40. Bonita has been a part of the Tom Tailor group since August 2012.
