The women’s ethnic fashion apparel wear brand Trendy Divva
is looking at expanding its store presence across India. With seven outlets in Delhi and Amritsar, it plans to add at least 20 new stores in major trade capitals and Tier II cities by December 2012. While working on its retail expansion strategy, the brand is also looking for a creative and strategy partner that can manage the brand’s creative while spreading its presence across India.Trendy Divva wishes to create a niche among renowned Indian ethnic wear labels. So far, the company has been working with small creative shops but since it has decided to speed up its retail plans, for the first it is time looking at hiring a creative agency to carry out marketing and advertising. The company also has other registered brands and aims to launch these as Trendy Divva strengthens grounds in different markets. Citing strong competition, in the category from big players like Shoppers Stop, Future Group, Westside and designers like Ritu Kumar, Trendy Divva wants to focus on its unique collections at affordable prices.
