Umbro increases its product range for Indian customers

Iconic British Brand ‘Umbro’ forayed into India last year through Future Lifestyle Fashion (FLF),

has gone forward and introduced Umbro apparel range in the country. Till now it was offering soccer boots and sports footwear.

The brand falls under the Iconix Lifestyle portfolio, which has a joint venture with Reliance Brands that holds India rights for more than 20 international fashion brands of Iconix. Umbro is known for its portfolio of football-related apparels, footwear and equipment. FLF decided to retail Umbro's merchandise through its various retail formats including Central, Planet Sports apart from opening exclusive brand outlets.

The apparel range comprises of crew neck tees, knit shorts, track pants, and track suits under the core range. Also in the offering is the performance range which includes polo tees, performance shorts and track suit.

For soccer enthusiasts in the country, the company plans to introduce sporty and colorful soccer gear and accessories – from soccer guards, gloves and socks to colorful caps and sport sippers and Umbro backpacks, later in the year. Umbro apparels will be available at all Planet Sports outlets, Central and select HyperCity stores. It is also available online with Myntra, Jabong, Flipkart, and Amazon.
