Uniqlo December same-store sales up 4.5 percent

Uniqlo has reported that its December 2012 same-store sales

increased by 4.5 percent year-on-year while sales at its own stores increased by 6.8 percent. Total sales including online sales increased by 6.9 percent. Same-store sales increased as sales of winter garments continued to be strong, led by product ranges featured in its advertising campaigns such as Ultra Light Down, warm pants and Heattech functional innerwear.

Uniqlo is a brand of Fast Retailing, a Japanese retail holding company that designs, manufactures and sells clothing under six main brands: Comptoir des Cotonniers, g.u., Helmut Lang, Princesse tam.tam, Theory, and Uniqlo. Today Uniqlo has more than 1,100 stores in 13 markets like Japan, China, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, UK and US.
Uniqlo
