V-Mart opens two more stores

V Mart Retail, one of India’s fastest growing value-retailers, currently operating 57 stores, across 43

cities in northern and western India; offering over 70,000 products, has opened two more stores in Uttar Pradesh. The 7,000 sq ft store that has come up in Sultanpur is V-Mart’s 11th store in the state. The other store has opened in Renukut and is spread across 8,000 sq. ft. Both the stores will offer women’s wear, kids wear, men’s wear, footwear, home furnishing and much more.
“The company primarily caters to the burgeoning middle and lower mid-segment consumer group who form an integral part of India’s growing purchasing power. Therefore, we have deliberately expanded in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, offering world-class shopping experience at affordable prices,” says Lalit Agrawal, Chairman and Managing Director, V-Mart Retail. 
V Mart Retail is also in the process of rolling out its franchise format women centric stores called ‘V Gals’ in northern and western India. The V Gals stores will stock affordable designer clothes and accessories for women. At the moment, the company has its own private labels namely, Charcoal, Cruxx, J-White, Groovy Kids and some quasi private labels sourced from other manufacturers.
