Yepme hands over its media duties to Havas Media

Online fashion apparel retailer Yepme.com has handed its media duties to

Havas Media after a multi-agency pitch. The account will be handled by Havas’s Mumbai and Gurgaon offices. The account is estimated to be worth 8.1 million dollars (over Rs 50 crores) annually. Before Havas Media, LMG was handling the online clothing platform’s media planning business.

Havas Media bagged the account owing to its understanding of e-tailing business and target audience. Having specialist divisions like Mobext to handle the mobile advertising also worked as an added advantage in its favour. Anita Nayyar, CEO, Havas Media Group, India and South Asia feels that the Yepme.com account win is another feather in the agency's cap. Nayyar says what went in Havas’ favour is that they gave them a differentiated and targeted approach to deliver the core message.

In December 2012, Forbes India magazine ranked Yepme.com as one of the top five start-ups to watch out for and in February 2014, Stylophane ranked fashion brands across the world on social index where Yepme ranked 19th worldwide.
