Shirts, jackets and even pillow covers inspired by first Formula 1 event have become

a big hit among the youth and are selling like hot cakes. Brands like Reebok are receiving a huge response on their e-selling website. Though sports merchandising is not a new concept in India, F1 the recent racing event added a glamour quotient to it and brands have tapped the market by associating with the sports events.

Other than Reebok, Puma, Party Hunterz and have also been getting encouraging response to their sports associated products. Brands are offering a variety of things from shirts, jackets, caps, trousers to household products like sofa covers and pillows to attract the audience. Being the official sportswear partner for Force India, Reebok dedicated a collection of apparels and accessories inspired by the Force India F1 team. It now plans to launch another collection based on the same theme. Puma, an official licensing partner for Ferrari and the supplier of team and race wear for Scuderia Ferrari, too came up with a line of apparel, footwear and accessories. Party Hunterz, the one-stop shop for party accessories launched a variety of products like chequered flags, wigs, drinking helmets and air horns.
