Swiss luxury watch brand Zenith is planning to double its presence in India through the

shop-in-shop model. The nearly 150-year-old brand, now owned by Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton, was launched in 2009 in India. The company has five outlets in metros such as Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore and by the end of next year it will have 10 outlets, which will include Kolkata, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

Zenith traces its history to the year 1843, making it one of the oldest Swiss watch manufacturers. Its best known for the high beat El Primero movement -- revolutionary when first created -- and still powering some of the finest watches ever produced. It has received over 1,500 first prizes from observatories for the precision of its timepieces.

Zenith manufactures watches for both men and women. Some of its collections include the ChronoMaster, the Class, the Defy Classic and the Defy Extreme, as well as the Academy, the Class, the Port-Royal and the Defy. These collections are primarily for men. Some of the specialty collections designed just for women include the Baby Doll collection, the Queen of Love collection, the Star Rock collection and the Starissime collection.
