Zink London opens debut store in Kolkata

Zink London, a ready-to-wear fashion, women’s brand launched its debut store at Forum Courtyard in

Kolkata. Launched in 2010 by Malini Singhal and Vivek Goyal in UK, the label offers fashion clothing for the contemporary woman. Spread over 400 square feet space, the first exclusive store is a result of hard work and positive response received by its 75 shop in shops (SIS) over the last 18 months in India. The styles are modern and on par with the global fashion trends yet appealing to today’s Indian woman.

By 2020 the company plans to expand its presence in 300 shop-in-shops and 50 company-owned stores. Designed by the Singhal-Goyal duo, the new store exudes the feel of a shopping street in London. The trial rooms are designed to look like the telephone booths of London. The store design was conceptualized in association with their creative agency, Lintas.

The ‘Zink London’ line for women is available in 75 shop-in-shops across the country, in Shoppers Stop, Central and online at Jabong and Myntra. Plans are on to open another store in Kolkata’s South City Mall over a larger area followed by store launches in major metros and Tier I cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Pune as also cities like Indore, Jaipur and Lucknow. The entire east zone is also on its target, where it aims to open 10-12 stores within 3 years.
