Cantabil: Positive about festive business, opening 50 EBOs

Optimistic about business in the upcoming festive season, Cantabil is aiming for good growth in the forthcoming years. As Vijay Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director, Cantabil Retail says with a turnover of Rs 118 crores, the brand is targeting

a growth rate of 25 percent every year.

“Retail
will surely perform well as festive season is approaching and winter season has big ticket. Recently, we conducted fashion shows in Tier II cities and organized Mr Cantabil competition to raise awareness about the brand. We are also concentrating on social media and digital marketing to achieve growth,” he explains.


Expansion through EBOs in focus

Cantabil enjoys a presence through 150 EBOs and it is the only retail vehicle company wishes to focus on to reach out to its target consumers. “We operate through EBOs only. We are planning to open 50 new stores in the next two to three years. We are also online and sell through a portal and expanding opportunities with other upcoming portals,” Bansal explains.


Adding more products to its portfolio

Cantabil offers a full range of merchandise in well-designed Italian fashion to all those who appreciate true style and value for money. The brand is a specialist in men’s formal wear. It has now entered into casuals and smart casuals segment for both men and women. “We are making different products for men and women,” explains Bansal, adding, “In men’s category, we are offering shirts, trousers, denims, T-shirts, suits and blazers, pullovers as well as pre-winter products and also with their sub categories. We are making western wear for ladies segment as well.”

The company now plans to unveil semi-formal shirts along with casual shorts and bermudas. It has also doubled its pre-winter volumes with a new line of hoodies and rugby T-shirts’s for men. “We have added refreshing winter kurtis for women and doubled the knits volumes for coming spring summer season,” exclaims Bansal.

Cantabil is the fashion-and-lifestyle brand of Cantabil Retail. The brand was launched in 2000, with a collection of only formal and semi-formal shirts and trousers for men. Subsequently, it established its identity and expanded its portfolio to casuals and smart casuals not only for men, but also for the diverse segments of women and children.
