Dixcy Scott plans to unveil premium thermals next season

Dixcy Scott which closed its last financial year with a turnover of Rs 500 crores, is now aiming for Rs 600 crores this year. The brand has planned to increase its retail footprint, which means opening more MBOs and EBO. Meanwhile, it’s also

chalking out plans to come out with a premium thermal range.


Premium thermals on the anvil

The
brand from Dixcy Textiles is buoyant about growth ahead. And in keeping with its optimism, Dixcy Scott is looking at launching a premium thermal range in the forthcoming winter season. The plan is to launch premium thermal wear in various fabrics and styles apart from 20 different styles of casual wear. “To perk up our brand’s identity, we are planning for OOH activities across India. Our target is towards billboards, wall paintings in metros and leading towns. Also, we are doing a retail activity in 1.20 lakh MBO’s across India. We are releasing our commercials in single screen theatres/multiplexes across targeted markets,” says Raghul Sikka, Director, Dixcy Textiles.


MBO and EBO expansion plan

The brand is retailed through 1.20 lakh MBOs across India and is planning to launch EBOs within a year. “We are planning to focus more on A and A+ customers. We have spun off a separate distribution arm for premium products and have appointed 50 distributors across the country,” opines Sikka. As of now the brand's range is available online with its own portal apart from Flipkart and Yebhi.

Dixcy Scott has a basic range which includes vests and briefs in the value segment. It also has a premium segment comprising of a sports range and classic UNO series. The sports range includes 12 vests powered by 4x dry technology and sported by Salman Khan as the brand ambassador. They come in a wide variety of colours and attractive patterns.

The UNO series, on the other hand, consists of five classic vests, four briefs/trunks, one capri and one track pant. These innerwear products are made using single-ribbed, double-ribbed and interlock fabrics and feature Ottoman checks, knitted with 60’s English count cotton.

Dixcy Textile started in 1982 as a small scale unit in textile hub of Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. The small unit has now transformed into a company that is known across the country for its high quality hosiery products for men, women and children. Various brands under the company’s umbrella include: Dixcy Scott for inner wear, casual wear and thermal wear, Scott for her and Dixcy Josh.
