Concentrating on retailing through third-party e-commerce platforms and growing at 100 percent every quarter from the time of its launch in 2013, Evan is now focusing on exponential growth in 2014. “So far Eavan designs have been conceptualized keeping in mind the needs

of both working and non-working women in this age group. Not limiting ourselves to Indian cities and keeping in mind global online shoppers as well,” explains Nitin Rai Gugliani, Managing Director, Eavan Fashion.

Offering fresh styles every month and anticipating in advance, the kind of fashion, patrons expect, the company has not limited itself to either Indian or western designs. The brand plans to introduce a range of affordable fashion soon.

Focus
on e-tailing

Though the company would not like to invest in brick and mortar stores at the moment, it aims to reach out to a huge audience, which it believes is only possible through the internet. “Launching our own e-platform is on the horizon but at the moment, we are focused on creating a loyal brand audience and not shift our gears from our core competency, i.e. creating captivating designs. We are retailing our products only through e-commerce sites,” explains Gugliani. The brand is available on Jabong, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Ladyblush, Ozel, Fullkart and Styleever. Eavan will continue to add more e-commerce websites month after month.

Fashion for today’s woman

“Eavan means pleasant or radiant and the name conveys the effervescence and buoyancy that we want our garments to exude. The brand was conceptualized keeping in mind the myriad needs of a young woman’s wardrobe. We believe that a woman’s mood clinches the choice of her clothing for the day or for an event and our designs offer variety in both styling and craftsmanship to suit the mood,” says Gugliani, elaborating on the brand’s USP.

The product portfolio ranges from kurtas, kurtis, tunics (both Indian and western) and dresses of varied lengths and styles keeping in mind popular trends and fabrics in the price range of Rs 499-2,500. “The launch of new product is a continuous process every month. Almost every month, we are adding new styles hence, providing more choice to customers,” states Gugliani, adding, “We shall be adding a new dimension to our collection shortly which is value for money designer apparels. These will be high on design quotient but reasonable on price.”

He further adds, “Customers are always looking for ‘that perfect party dress’ or ‘the right kurta to wear for the housewarming ceremony and other occasions or simply looking for their kind of clothing, which they have envisioned. That’s where we step in and give shape to styles and designs. So if the styles which are trending according to the seasons also fall in line with what our customers want, so be it. Fashion evolves and evolves quickly and we can’t wait for the seasons to turn.”
