Latin Quarters takes off on a retail expansion spree

With a presence in eight EBOs and 62 MBOs across 22 cities of India, Latin Quarters (LQ) the brand Ikon Retail has chalked out an aggressive retail expansion plans. Saurabh Jhingan, Director and Co-Founder, Ikon Retail gives out details, “In

addition to metros, Tier II, III cities, we are exploring the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa markets as a part of our expansion plan. We plan to reach 60 exclusive outlets and over 200 points of sale in the next three years.”

The
brand has set new benchmarks in women’s wear through its exquisite range and unique store design, matching international standards and panache. Latin Quarters’ USP is its rich collection of contemporary, elegant and classy styles. “LQ provides cutting edge fashion product in an environment of thought out design. Our customers feel the pleasure of buying fashion through our exquisite range and unique store design matching international standards. LQ stores have been designed to create a special atmosphere by transforming space in brand environments through architecture, fixtures, lighting and signage to provide a complete feel good shopping experience,” explains Jhingan.

Growing at 45 percent CAGR over last four years, the brand has been offering apparels, accessories and handbags to its target audience. Elaborating on their future plans, Jhingan say that now the company plans to foray into newer categories like kids’ wear, home and personal care products. “In today’s scenario, brand’s presence on both online and offline mode is essential. Latin Quarters online presence is shared by e-commerce sites like Myntra & Jabong. We are also coming up with an e-commerce strategy through our own website,” he says.

Latin Quarters was founded by a group of fashion enthusiasts with a shared vision of charting an explored territory in an unconventional style. The first LQ store opened in 2006 in New Delhi. Since then, business has expanded to that of a hugely popular brand known nationwide for its sophisticated, fun, clothing and accessories.

For Autumn/Winter ’13, LQ has unveiled new styles comprising of exclusive party wear range apart from a variety of stylish jackets and overcoats. On a concluding note, Jhingan states, “Though we are predominantly present in women’s apparel, accessories & handbags category, we plan to leverage our brand and foray into newer categories like kids’ wear, home and personal care products.”
