After successfully bringing in top international kids brands to India, the introduction of Young Versace in India marks a milestone for Les Petits. Les Petits is India’s first multi brand luxury store for kids’ apparel, accessories and furniture. “We are

ecstatic to have brought in the biggest fashion houses into the country and ramping up the luxury kidswear industry. All luxury brands at Les Petits have been well received and we hope to get more brands into our store in the future,” says Swati Saraf, President, Les Petits.

Pushing up kids’ luxury
brandwagon

Realising the dearth of luxury kids’ brands in the country, Saraf decided to establish Les Petits to fill the void. The first of its kind multi brand luxury store for kids’ at Delhi’s luxe mall DLF Emporio houses apparel, accessories and furniture from eminent brands such as: I Pinco Pallino, Fendi Kids, Miss Blumarine, Baby Dior, Simonetta and Young Versace. They are aimed at children in the age group of 0-8 years. Apart from this, the globally renowned furniture brands, Théophile and Patachou are also retailed at the store.

As of now, they have opened only two stores — Les Petits at DLF Emporio and Cherubs at Ambience Mall. Both of them are located at Vasant Kunj in New Delhi. “We follow the MBO format. It has been more than a year and half since the launch of Les Petits at Emporio. The store has received a good response as parents now are equally conscious about what their kids wear as they are about their own clothing and do not want to settle for anything but the best for their children. However, the market is still at a very nascent stage but we foresee significant expansion opportunities,” opines Saraf.

Trendy designs for kids’

The store’s collection features bright and bold colours for the summer and soft subtle tones for the coming spring season. It has unique designs, contemporary styling, modern flair and elegance to boast of. “For little girls, we have retro inspired frilly summer dresses from Baby Dior or dazzling floral prints from Fendi Kids. Smart stripes and fun checks for the little princes rule the racks this season. The new mothers too have enough here for their delicate darlings. With soft fabrics and urban designs to choose from, il Gufo and Tartine et Chocolat offer the perfect range in soothing summer pastels for infants,” says Saraf elaborating on the range on offer.
