Managing Director, Sumitsu Apparel says, “We are planning to increase our product line and introduce men’s and women’s bags and laptop bags as a part of our portfolio. Apart from that we want to launch our own stores and e-shopping websites on a big scale. Venturing into the international markets is also on the agenda. Moreover, many international brands are looking for a tie up with us, we plan to take good brands on board and spread their presence across India.”

a humble beginning in 1999, Lino Perros has come a long way. The brand was launched as a high end brand for ties and cufflinks with a distinct Italian flavor. A brainchild of designer duo Sanjay and Natasha, Sumitsu Apparel is a manufacturer, exporter and supplier of exquisite neckties, cufflinks, novelty and formal accessories that include sunglasses, leather bags, belts, wallets, caps, scarves, ladies’ handbags and so on. Commenting on their range, Dua says, “Offered in rare and sophisticated designs, our products are setting trends in the international fashion market. Renowned for distinctive patterns, great workmanship and delightful color combination, Lino Perros is known for its styles.”

The company has bagged licensee from MTV to create products under the MTV brand for men and women and distribute it across the country. Lino Perros products are currently available through shop-in-shops and five EBOs in Goa, Chennai, Kolkata and New Delhi. “We are planning to open about 1,000 shop-in-shops by this year end and our own EBOs in most malls in the country. The target is to reach a turnover of Rs 1,000 crores by 2020,” Dua sums up.
