A well known and established women’s western wear brand in north India, earlier restricted to teenagers and young mothers, Madame today has increased its target audience. Thanks to the rising number of consumers taking to western

wear. Moving ahead, the brand is aiming for 25 to 30 percent growth.


Looking
Southwards for growth

“We are planning to launch evening gowns in the price range of Rs 3,999 to Rs 7,999. On the retail side, spreading in South India is on the cards. We are comfortably adding 15 EBOs a year and looking at expanding 50 more other point of sales,” opines Bipan Jain, CMD, Jain Amar Clothing

The complete array of women’s western apparels and accessories under the brand’s portfolio includes tops, jeans, shorts, jackets, blazers, shirts, sweat shirts, pullovers, T-shirts, dresses, footwear and fashion jewelry. For Autumn/Winter, Madame has unveiled a collection titled ‘Animal Instinct’ inspired from the jungle and leopard theme.

“Madame can be undoubtedly be positioned as the largest single brand women’s western wear retailer in the country with a presence in more than 200 cities through MBOs, large formats and EBOs, along with international presence,” claims Jain. What gives the brand an edge is its high quality.

Incepted by CL Duggar in 1939, Jain Amar Clothing has been working on its mission of offering contemporary design, quality products and customer service, which is synonymous to the company. The company has been engaged in the manufacturing of fashion apparels and allied accessories, with products ranging from women’s western wear to men’s scarves and Merino wool thermals to kid’s wear. Today Jain Amar is a fourth generation company and has been marketing brand Madame for the last two decades.
