It may be noted that the branded apparel market for women is estimated at Rs 18,351 crores and is growing at a CAGR of 30 per cent. With competition warming up, Madame is aiming for a turnover of Rs 100 crores this fiscal with a CAGR of 40 per cent. Jain explains Madame tops the family of brands under Jain Apparel Company. However, as a dynamic organization, they keep exploring various growth options. Hence, sub branding and range extension are also under consideration. “We have successfully launched an accessory brand called ‘NYCITI’ that has over eight stores. It offers young, chic accessories. The product line includes caps, scarves, hand bags, lingerie and fashion jewelry. There is a lot of scope as this is still under explored and untapped in the organized segment,” he sums up.
