Me N Moms and Mee Mee brands synonymous with children and parenting needs in India has grown 40 percent year-on-year for the last five years. With a turnover of Rs 80 crores in 2011-’12, the company is now aiming to cross the Rs 300 crores

mark in five years. And to fuel this growth major retail expansion and new product launches are on the anvil.

on the plans, Naresh Khatar, Founder and Managing Director, Me N Moms says, “We have 450 employees with 12 wholesale depots servicing 1,200 retail stores and 19 Me n Moms stores across India. And there is an e-commerce website which we plan to grow rapidly. Our aim is to build the Me n Moms group into India's leading specialist retailer of parenting and children's products. The group's aspirations will be achieved through developing innovative and exciting own-brand products under both the Me n Moms and Mee Mee brands.”

Incorporated in 1994 by Khatar, Me n Moms’ vision was to fulfill the needs of kids in 0-3 age group. Both brands carry a reputation for quality, safety and innovative products and services for mothers, mothers-to-be, babies and young children. They are passionate about their commitment to offering customers a multi-channel shopping environment through retail stores and the internet, so that parents can meet the needs and aspirations for their children, in India.

“We operate 20 EBOs and around 1,200 MBOs, with a presence in reputed LFS as well,” explains Khatar, adding, “We will open 25 stores every year for the next three years. We are also present online, and see a huge potential. We are also fairly present on many of the internet portals like Flipkart, Firstcry, Babyoye, Homeshop18, Rediff, among others. They all source from us for their baby care category as we specialize in this category and are a trusted brand among mothers and to be mothers.”

The company provides all products that a baby and mom require. The latest addition is a new range of toiletries in categories like baby bedtime, baby bath time, baby care, baby dress up time, baby play time, furniture & travel, nursing and feeding and for moms, company has planned exciting new additions to its range coming year, in furniture, infant utilities, toys & apparels.

The company’s A/W’13 range would be a trendy wardrobe in shades like energetic aqua, soft pinks, purples mixed with lime, orange, grays and deep blues. The line includes tops, T-shirts, dresses, jackets, cardigans, sweaters, shirts, jeans. Mee Mee will have catchy graphic prints with high quality materials that are soft on the baby’s skin.
