Optimist about winter business, Palmer to add infant wear

TheAfter launching Palmer into 1989, and getting immediate acceptance at some of the best retail stores, the company is now looking at expanding its portfolio by adding infant wear to its range.
Its boys’ line is for ages six months to 12 years. The range consists of biker-style jackets, cardigans and half-sleeve as well as reversible pullovers. The price range for jackets is from Rs 750 to Rs 1,100, for pullovers its Rs 350 to Rs 900. “Last year, we launched a line for girls called Palmer Princess. It is for girls one to nine years. Palmer Princess has jackets, cardigans, and tops with price range of Rs 350 to Rs 900,” explains Bedi.
Palmer is retailed through in 250 MBOs like C&M and Ritu Wears Biglife. “We have a presence across India but our strong market is the north especially, Delhi. Last year, we went back to Assam. We also export to Bangladesh and Kathmandu, Nepal,” Bedi sums up.
