Provogue sizzles with A/W ’10

Provogue has just launched its autumn/winter 2010 collection of fashion formals, casual wear and jackets crackles. Provogue designers Kunal Rawal and Nishka Lulla unveiled the star studded glamorous fashion show with celebrity guests Priyanka Chopra

and Ranbir Kapoor promoting their forthcoming and much awaited film Anjaana-Anjaani. Salil Chaturvedi, Deputy MD, Provogue said, “We are proud to announce our new autumn/winter collection with the upcoming Bollywood blockbuster Anjaana Anjaani, we hope to grace this coming festive season with our incredible blend of casual varsity and bold and glamorous look clothing line.”

The autumn/winter collection already in stores showcases a perfect balance of fashion formals, casual wear and the much liked Provogue jackets. The models showcased the same at an interesting fashion show at Trilogy choreographed by Nisha Harale. The collection has a lot to choose from. Women can choose from smart casual dresses, tunics, sweaters, hoods, tees, jeans, in vibrant colors and various designs. For men, there are shirts, jackets, formal bottoms, denims and a bright range of T-shirts. Designer Lulla adds, “This is my first experience with such a big and successful brand like Provogue. My collection is aimed at appealing to all kinds of girls who want to look and feel good. I am quite excited and hope to get a great response.”

Launched in March 1998, Provogue is one of India’s leading fashion labels. It spans a comprehensive range of contemporary men’s and women’s apparel and accessories and operates over 125 own stores in 67 markets pan-India. It’s also available through approximately 120 shop-in-shops in leading department stores. The company is well-placed on the funding side for both realty ventures and retail expansion with a debt-equity of 0.3 times, and an interest cover of 3.7 times.

Provogue also exports apparel and dyestuff which form about a third of its revenues. The brand is also engaged in manufacturing and trading of textile and related products. The company operates in three segments: manufacturing and trading of textile and related products, infrastructure activities, and other activities. Besides, the company, through its subsidiary Prozone, is developing properties for commercial purposes including the development of shopping malls.
