For the forthcoming winter, the brand has introduced colour schemes like blacks, brown, coffee, navy and so on. “Slim fit coats are in demand and in suits there is a demand of light colours like peach and cream and velvet for designer men’s suits. Two buttons is a popular concept in suits. Both Indian and imported fabrics are being used. In sherwanis, embroidery work, high necks are in trend. Fabrics like brocade, silk and combinations of velvet are in fashion. Colours like green in velvet are some new colour tones,” says Jain elaborating on the trends and styles in coming season.
Kishore Jain started the business in 1989, and Jasbir Rai Jain entered it in 2002. The brand has a presence in Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Northeast. “We supply to around 100 MBOs and looking forward to launching our own EBOs from Ludhiana. After that we will open stores in Chandigarh and Jalandhar in Punjab. We are planning approximately five stores,” says Jain elaborating on the retail plans.
The brand is also exported to New Zealand, Canada and Australia through third party route. The price range for its coats and suits starts from Rs 2,595 to Rs 4,500 and sherwanis are available from Rs 7,500 to Rs 16,000.
