Shingora to launch premium range by Rajesh Pratap Singh

Shingora International, best known for their shawls and scarves are set to launch a premium range for women. The brand has tied up with Delhi-based fashion designer Rajesh Pratap Singh and is coming up with a signature collection using premium cashmere fibres and other luxurious fibres. Shingora

is a manufacturer, exporter and supplier of fashion shawls, decorative bed covers, designer bed spreads, fashion fabrics for ladies, home furnishings, ladies scarves and decorative window panels.

Premium range of shawls

“These premium scarves and shawls will be out in the market by August this year and presented as the Autumn/Winter Collection. Rajesh Pratap Singh is a noted fashion designer and I am sure it will be fabulous collection,” reveals Amit Jain, CEO, Shingora Textiles. Singh is the first Wool Ambassador of the Woolmark Company in India and his premium designs include leather sandals, buttons set, designer chappals and more. Internationally, Singh has been showcasing his collections in Paris and Milan. He is also the associate design member of India's apex fashion body Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).

The brand has also collaborated with a noted Italian designer. “So, one can also look forward to remarkable work from a talented Italian designer,” says Jain without disclosing the name of the Italian designer. Both these collections will be available in sophisticated colours in rich deep hues.

Ludhiana-based Shingora will also be launching an e-commerce site by the end of this month. As Jain says, “We are witnessing a lot of changes in the ecommerce sector. The traditional way of shopping is passé and consumers are aware of what’s happening around them.” The exquisite range of Shingora shawls, plaids, throws, scarves, wrap-arounds, ponchos and berets will now be available online.

With these new happenings and changes taking place at the brand’s end, it is happy to grow at 20-25 percent year-on-year. Shingora, is known for its beautiful and lightweight shawls and scarves, which sells in stores like Style, Shoppers Stop, Hyper City, Globus and Meena Bazaar. Beyond India, it’s also present in Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Japan. Besides its own brand Shingora, the company also makes products for premium producers and luxury brands and private labels such as Armani, Polo Ralph Lauren and Paul Smith.
