SNX plans to explore smaller towns for growth

SNX, the brand from the stable of Radiance Galore, is chalking out aggressive retail expansion plans with the aim of continuing its 10 to 15 percent growth per annum. Commenting on the company’s plans, Indermohan S Kandhari, Business

Development, Radiance Galore says, “Though March, April and May are too short to expect anything, we just need to feed our lines and prepare for winter and get the samples ready and order the fabrics on time. We want to expand within our existing territories and are looking at untapped areas like Tier II and III cities.”

over India, SNX has 150 dealers and for 2013-14, it is looking to add another 200 to its growing list. The product line is also available with retail chains like Spencer’s and Chermas. Talking about their latest offerings Kandhari says, “We launched a fit last year, the tailored fit that matches the fit any tailor can give. We are also planning to enter the smart casuals segment.”

The company has been into exports for the last 18 years and brand SNX was launched in 2009. The product portfolio includes formal and smart-formal shirts. “Smart formals are 70 percent of our line. Our target age group is from 24 to 44 years. Our shirts have pinstripes, small and medium checks. In collars, plackets have been reduced. Cutaway and regular collars are as per style,” explains Kandhari.

Adding further, he says, “For summer 2013, we have extended our price line from Rs 699 to Rs 1,099. We have also ventured into 100 percent cotton shirts. The MRPs range from Rs 999 to Rs 1,099. A similar range of 100 percent cotton shirts in latest colours, appealing fabrics, textures would have been priced not less than Rs 1,499 by other brands.”
