Tailorman: Made to measure concept goes online

Citing a huge vacuum in the Indian market for right fit and great-looking suits at good prices, Tailorman, an e-platfrom from Camden E Commerce Services has been launched. It offers custom made clothing for customers. “Our online model allows

customers to buy garments by inputting a few measurements and selecting the desired style that takes not more than five minutes. Our offline activities include visiting bespoke service for individuals, corporates and wedding groups at the convenience of home or office. We also have our guide store in Bangalore, where we provide the whole experience of a getting a custom made garment,” elaborates Vidya Natraj, and Gautam Golchha, Directors, Camden E Commerce Services.

The
e-platform offers simple made to measure process of ordering clothes. “First choose your style from the vast collection of suits, jackets, trousers, shirts and waistcoats, customise different features you wish to add to your order and then input a few basic measurements using Tailorman's easy to follow video or picture guides. These measurements will be stored with us and will be used for subsequent purchases, unless one wishes to make adjustment. In place of a store assistant, the virtual experience includes a photo gallery to help visualize these options, as well as recommendations based on current trends,” they explain.

The company also has an offline facility in Bangalore that provides a customer an experience of how customised clothing is made. “A customer who walks in at guide store can browse around our wider collection of display garments ranging from suits, jackets, tuxedos, trousers, shirts and waist coats. Our in-house master tailor will help the customer with his prefitting and measurement and followed by trial after 10 working days and final delivery,” they add.

Tailorman garments are produced at the company’s factories in and around Bangalore where it also produces for global brands such as Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klien, DKNY and many of the boutiques of the Savile Row, London. “We have our in-house designers creating the latest styles. Tailorman insists on using the finest fabrics from some of the finest mills from India and abroad. Our fabric options are linen, viscose blend, wool blend, wool and cotton. We also deal with Zegna, LoroPiana, Scabal fabrics,” they sum up.
