A star-studded finale

The India International Jewellery Week 2012, sponsored by PCJ, closed with a star-studded gala affair with two of Bollywood divas – Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Sonam Kapoor dazzling on the ramp. The dual grand finales saw the ‘Best of the best’ show featuring ornaments from the entire IIJW 2012, and a show by PC Jewellers.

Madhuri Dixit-Nene was the showstopper P C Jewellers. She walked the ramp in a polki rani haar collar. Later she was joined on the ramp by Balram Garg of PCJ. PCJ’s contemporary collection was for the modern woman in light-weight gold, while the specially crafted bridal line had exquisite pieces of gold and diamond jewellery.

Sonam Kapoor, who is the brand ambassador for the Gems and Jewellery Council’s, annual Indian international Jewellery Week 2012 sashayed down the ramp in black and gold ensemble and showcased traditional Polki jewellery. She was also seen dazzling in jewels created by the celebrated jeweller Nirav Modi on the inaugural day.
