Fashion footwear and accessories player, Aldo hosted a fashion event in New Delhi, which was attended by the biggies from the fashion fraternity. The brand launched its F/W 2013 collection showcased by 100 youth walking the ramp. ‘Walk the Runway’ was a perfect representation of celebration of fashion.

With around 7,000 valid entries from across the country, 100 lucky winners got a chance to walk the ramp to unveil the F/W collection of the brand. The panel of judges included ace model Nayanika Chatterjee, renowned choreographer Shy Kalra, fashion photographer Hemant J Khendilwal and the editor of Cosmopolitan, Nandini Bhalla. Other eminent judges included Ambreen Khan, Archana Kumari and Shivjeet Khullar.

The show was choreographed by Shy Kalra and the contestants were also given grooming tips by her. Nayanika Chatterjee, a former supermodel spoke to the contestants about how fashion is not just limited to the way one looks but how you perceive style. An interesting dimension was added to this entertainment bouquet when Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz joined the celebrations and felicitated the winner with Aldo Hampers.

The brand specializes in the creation of high-quality fashion footwear, leather goods and accessories. In May 2005, Aldo was introduced to India with the first store opening in Mumbai.
