After the recent spate of crime against women, especially that one incident in New Delhi that rocked the nation, a special fashion show, ‘No More Fear’ was organized by Bollywood couturier Neeta Lulla along with Jewellery designer Varuna di Jani and producer Anu Ranjan in Mumbai recently.

Several celebs from walked the ramp in support of the special cause. They included names like Zeena Aman, Esha Deol, Sameer Kochar, Rohit Shetty, Vaibhavi Merchant and Jackky Bhagnani with Sushmita Sen as the showstopper for the evening.

“We wanted to display through a fashion show and dance format what a woman goes through when she’s abused and mistreated. We took up the cause of rape, as it’s the call of the hour. Being a mother of three daughters myself, I’m doing this for the safety of all the daughters of our country,” said Varuna di Jani.

While Lulla’s outfits added a glam quotient to the evening, designer Varuna also showcased her specially crafted jewellery, with each colour of the gemstones denoting a woman’s personality. The funds earned through this initiative would be donated to Anu Ranjan’s NGO ‘Beti’.
