New Delhi-born designer Parul Aneja known for her women’s wear creations debuted her collection at the recent New York Fashion Week’s the Emerge! runway show. Aneja showcased 12 high-end ready-to-wear pieces from her 2013 Fall collection. Her colourful splash on the white runway garnered a lot of attention.

Fashion Innovator Award recipient and legendary style icon Mikki Taylor was visually pleased with the treat as contemporary and traditional women appeared one after another. Many even expressed their ‘likes’ on social media. Names included Miss Curve 2011 Chrisandra Wells, who said, “Love your designs,” on Parul Aneja's fan page while New York's favourite socialites and entrepreneurs The Von Boozier Twins, took to twitter with a front row snap shot of Parul’s show. Broadway producer Stephen C. Byrd stated the runway show was “awesome.”

Several live models dressed in her previous designs like a traditional wedding sari, mingled with guests throughout the evening. New York recording artist Ruby Rubero of Elique Music wore a floor length Parul Aneja original ivory gown with gold lamé brocade. The dress will be featured in Ruby's upcoming video for her new single “Runway.”

Aneja’s Fall 2013 collection is priced as per the buyers’ needs and through a partnership with an apparel manufacturer, she can mass produce for worldwide department store and boutique placement. She will also show during Midwest Fashion Week from March 10-15, 2013.

Recipient of Best Creative Designer Award by the National Institute of Fashion Design, New Delhi, Aneja holds degrees from the National Institute of Fashion Design and Delhi University for commerce. She is currently based in Indianapolis, creating and designing evening, cocktail and prom dresses for women.
