ASFT presents 'Incredible India'

Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT) organized its annual fashion show competition recently. The first prize was awarded to Pearl Academy of Fashion (Delhi), while JD Institute of Fashion Technology received the second prize.

An inter-college fashion show competition was organized as a part of AYF (Amity Youth Fest, 2014). It saw seven leading fashion institutes presenting their designs on the theme ‘Incredible India’. The participating institutes included JD Institute of Fashion Technology; Pearl Academy of Fashion (Delhi and Noida); Institute of Fine Arts (Modinagar); Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad; Mata Sundri College for Women and Satyam Fashion Institute.

The competition was judged by well known names from fashion business like: David Johnson, Director David Design Studio USA, Prashansha Saha and Ashish Tanga, Fashion Designers and Jatann Vij, Chief Mentor Design & Product Development, Shahi Exports. The guests of honour included fashion designers like Ritika from Gaurav & Ritika, Vikrant Makkar, Sadan Pandey, and Rahul from Rahul & Anushka.

The event was also attended by Divya Chauhan, Chairperson, ASFT, ASFA & ASPA, Balvinder Shukla, Acting Vice Chancellor, Amity University; Pradeep Joshi, Director, ASFT, ASFA & ASPA and other senior personnel from Amity University.
