Celebs walk for CPAA

The 9th Annual ‘Caring with Style’ fashion show was held at National Sports Club of India, Mumbai for the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA). The show had designers Shaina NC and Vikram Phadnis showcasing their creations.

Yesteryear’s Bollywood diva, Sadhana now 72, looked stunning in a pink sari, and her trademark fringe framing her face. Accompanying her was actor Ranbir Kapoor. The evening saw several celebrities walking the ramp in outfits designed by Vikram Phadnis and Shaina NC, among other designers. Bollywood actors Vivek Oberoi, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Gauhar Khan, Bhagyashree, Manish Paul, Neetu Chandra and Poonam Dhillon, and TV actress Sakshi Tanwar were among the prominent faces, who scorched the ramp for a cause.

This initiative is a part of Pidilite's continuous commitment to support children suffering from blood cancer for the 9th year in succession. The fashion show witnessed style icons, achievers and prominent figures. Commenting on the noble initiative, Y K Sapru, Founder Chairman-Cancer Patients Aid Association said, “The ‘Caring with Style’ fund raising event is one of the efforts to raise funds for the needy patients. The funds will be utilised to aid children with Leukaemia (as the prognosis is very good and we will be able to aid many more patients and save lives).” He appealed to the attendees to come forward and support the initiative.
