The Chivas Studio made a stunning come back to Mumbai recently with the second edition featuring an eclectic brew of some of 2011's most stylish and avant-garde acts. One of the highlights of this times show was Fashion Broadway– an interesting blend of Broadway-style theatre, cinema and fashion. It saw the coming together of two very versatile and talented minds from the world of fashion and cinema, producer, director Karan Johar and eminent designer Manish Malhotra. Fashion Broadway is a differentiated form of presenting fashion, where the creative influences of Malhotra converged with Johar’s directorial talent against the backdrop of a music piece created especially for the show.

Held over three days, the grand event also had photography and art installation by Bharat Sikka and Bose Krishnamachari, a music concert by Karsh Kale, a brunch show by Nandita Mahtani and a concluding show with a tribute to Alexander McQueen. Commenting on the second edition, Bikram Basu, Vice President-Marketing, Pernod Ricard India said, “The Chivas Studio is a stunning concept bringing creative art forms to life. Moments of life is art. We are pushing uncharted territory, experimenting and innovating as we go along in our pursuit for excellence; so embodied by Chivas Regal globally.”
