Blenders Pride Punjab Fashion Tour, which was held in cities like Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala and Bhatinda, culminated in a grand finale in Chandigarh recently.Spread over a couple of months, the fashion tour was organised in association with the Nanhi Chhaan Foundation that is involved in raising a voice against female feticide and saving the girl child.

The finale saw designers Rajdeep Ranawat, a regular at Wills India Fashion Week, Sumit Dasgupta from Mumbai, Harri’s Collection from Delhi and Preeti & Gunjan Singhal showcase their collections. Since the wedding season is on, most of the collections addressed the bride-to-be.

Preeti and Gunjan Singhal are the brand ambassadors of the Punjab Fashion Tour and the upcoming India Fashion Tour. After showing their collections in Dubai, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Dhaka, London and Australia, the sisters are looking to make a mark in the Indian fashion industry.

Nanhi Chhaan Foundation had partnered with event organizers Glamorouz Media for the Punjab Fashion Tour 2012. The fashion tour had initiated the first event in Ludhiana on July 18. The mega event provided an integrated platform for new and aspiring models to make their dream career also giving renowned designers a chance to showcase their collection in all major cities of Punjab.
