Fashion designing students of IITC (India International Trade Center) showcased their talent through designs at the IITC annual fashion show in Mumbai recently. While S K Urval, Founder Director-CEO inaugurated the show along with his sons – Director-duo Vikrant Urval and Sandesh Urval, Chairman of The Leela Group of Hotels Capt C P K Nair was the guest of honour.

The show featured 13 new collections created by IITC’s senior fashion design students under the supervision of Rina and Neha Urval. Renowned models Shona Raval, Priyanka Shah, Shipra Mallik, Aryan Vaid, Umaesh Pherwani among others flaunted the designs on the ramp. Bollywood actor Rajneish Duggal was the showstopper of the evening.

IITC’s fashion design program is an idea-driven, craft-based course that emphasizes design concepts and skill development. The goal is to create designers by honing and exploring their talent across disciplines. Through the course, students gain technical expertise in pattern making, draping and fashion illustration. The show provided an excellent platform for them to demonstrate and express their creativity, and foray into the fashion world.
