Jessie J in Falguni and Peacock

Indian designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock bold cuts, sexy silhouettes and exemplary designs added another international celebrity into their list as British singer Jessie wore a creation by them during her performance at Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations recently. Jessie shared her performance with rapper Will.i.am on stage. During her performance, she was seen wearing a black net gown with bright gold and red piping, a design which Falguni and Shane Peacock showcased at their Spring /Summer 2012 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York last year.

Shane expressing her pleasure and said that it always felt fantastic whenever an international style icon chose to wear one of their outfits. “Jessie has a unique style which matches our design sensibilities. It was great to have Jessie wear one of our gowns for her performance", Shane said.

Jessie’s representative had asked the duo to send them a couple of options for the event. “We sent her this gown as an option since we knew it would be her style. It is a black net sheer gown with blue feather embellishments, red and gold piping and metal detailing. It had hints of the union jack in its design which drew her attention and she instantly chose to wear it," said Falguni.
