In her 10th year at fashion week, and second grand finale after the Summer/Resort 2013 showcase at Lakme Fashion Week, Namrata Joshipura gave the grand finale a sci-fi spin. Her collection called ‘elecTRONS’ was based on her research on artificial intelligence and reading up on brain mapping and neural patterns, and that’s how this collection has been incubated.

The designer’s ‘Black Skinhead’, a chic and vibrant Autumn/Winter collection is a must have for every fashionista. The bright and colorful collection had a lot of variety from sexy bodysuits to thigh high slit gowns, leather, frills, sheer and silk looked punk on the ramp. Wrap around thigh high slit knee length skirts, knee length boots, ankle length skinny pants, handless opera gloves looked stylish. Perforated leather and woven leather strips looked amazing. Sexy sheer outfits with a touch of lace looked bold.

A lot of thought went into the headgears as well as Joshipura offered pretty gladiator headgears. Leather webbed in with woven fabrics, fabulous fusing of textures looked amazing. The there were handless opera gloves, electric jersey sweat shirts, sharp shoulders, slim lapels, jewelled ear muffs, strong woman struts, metallic sequin work were seen in her collection. Celeb showstopper, the gorgeous Kangana Ranaut sashayed in a strapless black silk gown, which had heavy silver embellishments on the side. The Bollywood beauty did face some Oops moments on the ramp and as she faced some trouble walking in the floor sweeping gown, but managed to wow the crowd with her walk.
