Abhishek Byas identifies himself as a composer and his label always looks ahead by focusing on the next century of fashion. This designer is all for 'freethinking', hence he has emerged as a non-believer of perfectionism. This is evident in the way he fashions his silhouette, details, lines, shapes and colors. He reproduces classic ornate embroidery and breathes life into it by giving it a new expression.

At the LFW Summer/Resort 2011, his collection was inspired by the clowns and jokers of Gotham comics. He called it ‘Never-the-less’ and developed enigmatic images and transferred them to his collection. The cuts were innovative and he added smart deconstructed and deformed looks and fun texturing details such as checks, stripes, pleats, prints and embroidery. The silhouette and drapes were asymmetrical for the jackets and skirts. From monochrome tones to primary and secondary colors, he added some clever deconstructed deformed looks and showed a line that worked rather well between ready-to-wear and high fashion. His texturing moved from checks, stripes, pleats and then to prints with embroidery. Using cotton, silk, satin and chiffon to present some interesting contradictions to his collection, he had a wide cocktail to offer. A funky black and white draped asymmetrical ensemble, bubble skirts, long lean contoured jackets and dresses with shoulders or hips emphasis all came together for a fun filled line of clothing that would evoke instant attention for Byas as well as the wearer.
