Nivedita presents evening wear

Designer Nivedita Saboo showcased her exquisite evening wear collection, Metamorphosis, at the ICC Marriott, Pune recently. The show was organized by Chivas Regal. Saboo created an evening of panache and glamour with two very diverse, yet flamboyant and classy repertoires. Her first collection was inspired by swish cocktail evenings, with intoxicated toasts being raised to heady and glamorous success, making it couture for ‘Adults Only’. Structured drapes and constructed silhouettes blended seamlessly to form an elite evening wear that translated into pure panache. The second collection had exotic appliqué, lots of subtle sexiness and graceful drapes of fluid fabric and was a fusion of floor length panelled anaarkalis in sheer fabrics with western silhouettes. The show stoppers were Kim Sharma and Hrishita Bhatt who glided down the ramp in striking designs. Besides models like Iris Maity, Hanika Paryani, Surele Jones, Aakshi Khari, Hrishant Goswami, Piyush Walia and Viraj looked sensational in their outfits. Saxophone player Nigel Rajaaratnam mesmerized the crowd with his musical abilities. Jackie Shroff’s presence added to the celebrity quotient of the evening.
