Rathore showcases Club J

Well-known for his male-centric offerings, designer Raghavendra Rathore showcased his brand new collection in Bangalore as a part of the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour September-November 2012. Having associated with the tour for last eight years, Rathore was delighted to be present in Bangalore because of its fashion-conscious audience. His latest offering, celebrating heritage and tradition in modern style has rich textures, colours and fabrics that express the old world charm. Rich textiles like brocade enhance the beauty of each ensemble. The designer has also worked upon the look of traditional dhoti, achkan, kurta, waistcoat and bandhgala by making subtle style changes infusing fresh and vibrant colours with pastel tones.

Unveiling his new labels Club Jodhpur and Club J for the first time in Bangalore, Rathore aims to cater to the masses offering mid-price ranged collections under these brands. The collections focus on exclusively ethnic and western collection respectively. And while known for his all-male collections, Rathore is diverting into women’s fashion keeping the demand in mind and the exclusive women’s only label would be launched in a year’s time.
