Renowned Indian designer Ravi Bajaj showcased his collection influenced by the Indian and European sense of styles and design at the Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) recently. Whether it is the use of fabrics, silhouettes or structuring techniques, Bajaj tried to infuse Indian and European styles in his collection. He is known for the fusion of Indian sensibility with modern touch that he creates in his designer collection. Bajaj started designing way back in 1987 and has a boutique called the Salon de Ravi Bajaj.

His designs were displayed on the second day of the fashion extravaganza, which were inspired by occasion wear that transcends all seasons. Fashion enthusiast’s got to see the amalgamation of a traditionally crafted lehenga in a bright colour, an evening gown in a nude shade, a structured coat in zardozi, and other such fusion varieties. The menswear line displayed a combination of class and modernity with creations like an elongated bandhgala jacket worn over skinny pants or riding breeches, sherwanis over loose pants and navigator kurtas over jeans.
