Rina's polo line at LFW

This season LFW Summer-Resort 2011 witnessed some fresh talent. And the designer to join the league is accessory designer Rina Shah with her new line of Polo accessories. Her collection titled Rinaldi Polo is sporty, chic and classy and is worn by the likes of Natalie Portman, Pamela Anderson, Goldie Hawn and Naomi Campbell. It comprised thigh-high boots with feathers, beaded spur straps, satchel bags with all chain and crystals and a tomboy themed collection too, targeting those who like to carry a sporty yet sexy attitude.

Using her signature style of embellishments with crystals and colored stones, Shah has created a line with equestrian prints, polo prints on large bags with bamboo handles. The theme is brought to life with saddle bags with trimmings, reins handles on oversize bags, spur straps with crystals and feathers and even a sexy collection of belts with horses at buckles. Accentuating an interesting mix of colors, the palette comprises a lot of aqua, pink, brown, gold, bright yellow, green and turquoise. Rina Shah has been the only label for fashion accessories in India since 1998. The designer believes in non-violence and non-cruelty to animals and has been a PETA award-winner for manufacturing creative designs while using non-leather and non-wool products.
