Ace designer Rocky S presented a stunning collection at the recent Amby Valley India Bridal Week 2011. The wedding trousseau line had an assortment of hand-crafted dresses, lehengas, kurtas and churidars for the bride. For the groom there were Indo-Western garments. It had an understated collection of anarkalis, saris et al to ad splandour to a demur bride. The color palate was somewhere between white, black and soft pastels and assortment of fabrics ranged from sheer net, georgette silk, satin and brocade. The antique zardozi, crystal and sequins gave the ensembles an opulent edge, while details in the form of soft pleats added to a romantic feel to the collection. From heavy lehengas to chiffon saris, Rocky S' collection was a complete solution for all trousseau needs. The show stopper Ameesha Patel, wore a jade green georgette lehenga with a broad gold border and matching choli teamed with a red dupatta that made the audience applaud with appreciation.
