Rocky S styles up kids’ wardrobes

Renowned fashion designer Rocky S launched his first kids’ wear collection at the recent India Kids Fashion Week. His timeless collection comprised of sheers, silks, velvet trims with rich brocades and gorgeous Chantilly lace with elaborate and rose textures, bow and diamond vintage broaches. Bollywood actress Dia Mirza walked the ramp in a stunning white outfit along with little boys and girls giving a great start to the gala.

From perfectly tailed tuxedos, modern fit suits with waist coats made every little boy look handsome and little princesses sashayed down in tantalizing dresses. The color palette had various hues of greys, ivories to pastels like old rose, pistachio and baby pinks.

The versatile designer who has designed for top Bollywood and Hollywood made his mark in the kids’ wear market with stunning collection. The collection was classic, immortal old English fashion perfectly blended with Rocky’s signature style of elegance.

India Kids Fashion Week is an effort to position kid’s fashion in India on the global map. IKFW aims to introduce a new opportunity by opening up the unexplored kids’ wear market that is estimated to become worth more than Rs 85,000 crores by 2014. The 360 degree event for the kids industry saw 20 brands and designers displaying apparels, shoes, toys and accessories for children.
