Designer Shruti Sancheti represented India at the Hong Kong World Boutique. Her designs, called the ‘Royale Regalia’ truly expressed the flavors of Indian craftsmanship and sensibilities. Sancheti, who always wanted to be a part of the fashion world since childhood, believes that one has to be original to make a mark in this competitive field.

After completing her course in fashion designing, followed by textile and jewellery designing, Sancheti began her career by teaching fashion. Later, she along with few of her students launched their own label Pinnacle in 2009. After showcasing her collection at the Kolkata and Mumbai fashion weeks last year, Hong Kong Fashion Week is her debut international show under the emerging category.

Her latest collection celebrates the pre-independence era that showcases royalty and influence of emergence of the European refined couture. The designs are in chiffons, Chantilly laces, silk and satin adorned with brocades, silks and velvets merging with opulent zardozi, mukaish, dori work, sequins, embroidery, gota and more. The collection mainly consists of angarakhas, chiffon tunics and dresses, anarkalis, teamed with Edwardian and Victorian style jackets, frills and flounces.
The Nagpur-based label has already got celeb clientele like actor Zareen Khan and designer Shaina NC, among many other industrialists and politicians.
