Shivan & Narresh woo with Foret Noire

They are known for their unique signature style that is bold, confident and sophisticated. Flawless lines and undisputed eye for detail and utter sophistication are words that could be used to define the brand, Shivan & Narresh. The duo launched the brand in Cannes at ‘Mare di Moda’ with their 100 per cent stitch free line called Insectoid. And later they shifted their studio to India, and became India’s first mainstream beachwear designers doing 100 per cent handcrafted stitch-free swimwear and ready to wear made all in 100 per cent Italian swimwear fabrics and complementing resort wear.

At the recent Resort Week in Goa Shivan & Narresh presented a collection inspired by the essence of the forest called Foret Noire. It had a collection of sorbet colored bikinis, color blocked kaftans and shirts. It was sensual with the right touch of class. Their colors of choice this time were greens, burnt ocre, orange, black and for the first time a print. Shivan & Narresh put forth a collection that captivated and celebrated the scintillating life beneath the elusive and esoteric dusk surrounding the woodland. As for the accessories, it was bang on to the color blocking collection. Very charmingly paired with the swimsuit were cotton belts which so elegantly clinged on to the waist making it look oh so fashionable, chunky necklaces and jeweled collars.
