Vikram Phadnis showcased his bridal collection at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Week 2010. In typical Phadnis style, the collection had Bollywood glamour written all over it. His Nizam collection was inspired by the Nizam jewelry from the Gitanjali Group. It had everything that one could ask for: drapes, vibrant colors, fabrics, lehengas, kurtis, saris et al.

He played with silks, velvets and tulles and displayed intricate embellishments in a trendy style. The color palette comprised of shades of green, mustard, blue with antique gold and silver giving the festive look. One outfit that stood out was the one that he opened with – layered anarkali ankle length kurtas with embroidered dupattas. The colors, fabric and pattern almost spoke to each other to give that wedding feel. The ghagras teamed with lovely and intricate blouses told their own story. The blouses or cholis varied from the tiny ones to key hole ones, each displaying crafty excellence. He showed off his skills in zardozi, kundan, brocade borders and crystals as well. The outfits were matched with dramatic hairstyles which added a lot of glamor and oomph to the show.
