As a part of its ongoing restructuring process, Christian Dior has announced the appointment of Damien Bertrand as Head of its women’s division. The development follows after Christian Dior Couture’s General Manager Serge Brunschwig moved to Dior Homme as President last year.

Bertrand joins the company from L'Oréal, where he served in senior positions for last 18 years, most recently being the General Manager of the consumer goods division in Brazil. Bertrand started his career at LVMH in 1998, as marketing director, Australia, for Guerlain.

Recently, Valentino’s former co-creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri moved to Christian Dior as Creative Director of the women's collections.
